Coating analysis

Range of services

Coating analysis for thermally sprayed coatings and surfaces.

Metallography in our own laboratory – take advantage of our expertise in coating analysis.

For us as experts in high-performance and high-quality surface technology, it goes without saying that we have a highly equipped laboratory. Coating analysis is an important part of our work. We continuously carry out quality-assuring section preparations and hardness measurements. Our metallography specialists in the laboratory also prepare coating analyses on behalf of our customers.

In 2002 we opened our own metallographic laboratory. The preparations of cut sections with microscopic analysis and hardness measurement make it possible to take a look at our spray coatings. With our high-quality laboratory equipment, we can carry out a large number of analyses in-house with which the properties of thermally sprayed coatings can be characterised. Our own laboratory makes us independent and much more efficient in terms of customer service.

In our metallographic laboratory, not only do we examine our own coatings for defined quality standards and for the purpose of further development. Of course, we also use our high level of laboratory expertise for our customers to design individual coating systems and define reproducible parameters. A complete coating documentation including porosity measurement and roughness values complete the picture.

rhv-Technik offers engineering performance at the highest level. Our laboratory services in the field of coating analysis for thermally sprayed coatings are therefore used for quality assurance purposes and help us with complex tasks in the field of coating development projects. We can also sustainably support internal and external R&D projects by evaluating the image and hardness of our spray coatings.
